The RYMS (say “rims”) are the youth (6th-12th grades) of Redeemer Lutheran Church. This is a ministry to our youth and led by our youth. The RYMS events include social activities, devotion/teaching times, and servant events.
Overall mission statement for Youth Ministry
To give youth an experience of the Christian faith that teaches them how it applies to every aspect of life.
Goals of Youth Ministry
Acting as advocates and mentors, the RYMS Adult Leaders will help youth:
1. Create and lead their own ministry, (LEAD)
2. Experience the joy of serving others and serving God, (SERVE)
3. Find a place in the congregation, (BODY OF CHRIST)
4. Provide practical assistance and encouragement to be involved in Christian education and worship. (TEACH)
5. Participate in the church including fellowship and build the church through inviting others to participate (PARTICIPATE)
